Patchwork

Patchwork or "pieced work" is a form of needlework that involves sewing together pieces of fabric into a larger design.

The larger design is usually based on repeat patterns built up with different fabric shapes (which can be different colors).
These shapes are carefully measured and cut, basic geometric shapes making them easy to piece together.

Thai fisherman pants

Thai fisherman pants are lightweight unisextrousers that are made very wide in the waist, one size fits all.

The additional material is wrapped around the waist and tied to form a belt.
They are usually made of cotton or rayon. Although traditionally used by fishermen in Thailand, they have become popular among others for casual, beach, and exercise wear as well as for backpackers and pregnancy.
